Derelicts are individuals who have hit a rough patch and are living in uninhabited properties. These dispossessed individuals face daily hardships to get by. Despite their tough circumstances, it is important to extend empathy towards derelicts and give support whenever possible. Society must collaborate to address the underlying issues that lead to dereliction, in order to build a more compassionate community. By providing resources, increasing consciousness, and pushing for change, we can strive to better the circumstances of these disadvantaged citizens.
